Field Trip Volunteers
Mrs. Haughey's class--Karen Dockman, Sandy Petrash, John Demyan
Mrs. Gallucci's class--Giana Citro, Sara Turner, Bryn Stock
Thank you to everyone who volunteered!

Please make sure you send in a packed lunch with your child on Tuesday, October 2 for our field trip.  We try not to bring anything home from the farm with us, so please try not to pack any items in containers.  Also, please dress for the weather as we will be outside no matter what!

Language Arts
We will continue with our Farm unit this week.  We have been reading several stories about the farm and focusing on sequencing, setting and characters.  We have focused on fluency with our poem The Rooster.  We will do our first writing sample this week about farm animals.

Math
Our unit on shapes will continue this week.  We are also working on formation of the numbers 1-5.  We are always counting!  We have been working on counting from any given number.  For example, start at 18 and count on.  Try this activity at home with your child.

Have a great week!
